City takes Citigroup space in LIC

Cushman & Wakefield arranged a 60,476 s/f sublease for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) at One Court Square, a 50-story tower, also known as the Citigroup Building, in Long Island City Queens.

DOHMH will occupy the entire 20th and 24th floors, which were vacated by Citibank.

Group, Cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Alliance Partner, represented the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), which oversees DOHMH leasing.
While terms of the sublease are undisclosed, asking rents were in the $40-per-square-foot range. The sublessor, Citigroup, was represented in-house.
