Kaufman Astoria Studios is constructing a 140,000-square-foot office building at 34-11 36th Street with two new stages on its Astoria, Queens campus – located between 34th and 35th Avenues. This unique property on the backlot of the campus will have roughly 66,000 square feet of office space on three floors of the planned four-story building.

The campus was built in 1920 as the original home for Paramount Pictures. Kaufman Astoria Chairman George Kaufman, who is also the chairman of Kaufman Organization, acquired the property in 1980.
